A native Californian, I'm orginally a trained writer with a background in digital marketing and advertising. Upon receiving my BA in Writing from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, I designed and implemented multi-channel marketing strategies for companies like Kia Motors, The Boys & Girls Club, Bambino, and Tiger Pistol.
I came to design by way of my undergraduate thesis, The Rhetoric of Design, where I researched the intersection of creative process and rhetoric across different design fields.
I'm wildly passionate about mentoring and serving youth, and have worked with organizations like Americorps, the Boys & Girls Club, 826 New York, and the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University. In the future, I hope to expand my experience as a mentor & create opportunities in design for youth.
Finally, I love training for ocean swims, writing essays and short stories, and talking about cars as much as humanly possible.
